Meet The Speech Therapy and Orofacial Team
Kristin Miller:
Kristin is a licensed Speech and Language Pathologist and certified Orofacial Myologist. She received her Master of Science degree in Speech and Language Pathology at Marquette University. Kristin’s love and passion for helping individuals communicate grew during her 11 years working for a non-profit, pediatric clinic. There, she gained knowledge in working with children with motor-speech disorders, feeding difficulties, articulation and phonological disorders, and expressive/receptive language disorders. Kristin served as a mentor for other therapists and graduate students. Through her work at the clinic, she discovered many children who exhibited similar traits, such as persistent articulation errors, mouth-breathing tendencies, and “messy eaters”. This led her to pursue a professional certification in Orofacial Myology. Kristin started her private practice in 2010.
Kristin is an active member of the International Association of Orofacial Myology and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
Kristin is a patient, compassionate, and engaging therapist. She enjoys working with both children and adults and their families. When she is not treating, Kristin likes to read, exercise, cook, and spends time at home with her husband and two active children.
